Like it or not, the band and orchestras we use have more and more electronic equipment in the form of guitars, keyboards, electronic percussion etc. In this video we look at a simple sound system in a theatre or venue, explain the various pieces of equipment used the sound department uses and how it links together to give our audience the best possible quality audio. But if Music Directors don't prepare and understand what the sound department is trying to do, it can cause frustration and maybe even resentment, for both parties.
