We start our journey from the North Wales town of Porthmadog. A warm welcome awaits us from the friendly staff as we boarded a very smart Pullman Observation Car No. 150 for a trip to Blaenau Ffestiniog and back. The seats are comfortable offering plenty of room to enjoy the views from the large panoramic windows, with the added bonus of a superb view of line disappearing into the distance. Reasonably priced drinks and snacks were served at our seats as we settled back to savour the glorious welsh scenery on a warm sunny evening. In this video we see the line from our train and various lineside locations along the way.
