This remarkable example is arguably the most beautifully restored '36 Woody available on the market. It would be a perfect addition to any discriminating collector's portfolio.

Gorgeous 1936 Ford Model 68 Woody for sale. One of 7,044 produced for the model year. An exhaustive, thorough restoration by Jim Lowrey was completed in 2014, and just 34 miles have been added since its completion. Throughout these 7 years, over $140,000 and countless hours were spent on this jaw-dropping, complete frame-off restoration. Lowrey's Antique Auto Restoration is family owned and operated for over four decades boasting award winning cars from Pebble Beach to Hershey, Pennsylvania.

The interior was restored to its original glory with a proper faux wood dash finish, a restored steering wheel and interior switches and components, and new upholstery, panels, cards, and matting, making for a very impressive and comfortable environment. It has a working speedometer, odometer, temp, amp gauges, horn, and lights. Currently, the trip meter does not work. I've also observed that with 4-5 gallons of fuel, the indicator is showing under 1/8th of a tank. Otherwise, the rest of the systems will be in good working order.

The exterior is stunning, with glassy paint and outstanding attention to detail, including trim, chrome, wood, glass, and rubber. It rides on a restored set of steel wheels with proper caps and rings and a set of proper 6.00-16 Firestone Deluxe Champion Gum-Dipped Whitewall tires. The wood is beautifully finished throughout, and the vinyl top is as new.

The engine compartment was restored to brand new. Its Flathead V8 221ci 3.6L starts, idles, and runs beautifully. The 3-speed non-synchromesh transmission shifts smoothly through the gears. The brakes, suspension, and steering are excellent and perform wonderfully.
