In this 40-minute session, we take a closer look at how we understand child development — and what happens when we stop seeing difference as delay.
Drawing on neurodiversity-affirming and inclusive perspectives, this talk explores how developmental “norms” have been shaped by narrow ideas of what children should do, and invites us to celebrate the many diverse ways children grow, learn, and connect.
You’ll learn how to:

🌱 Challenge ableist and neuronormative assumptions in early childhood
🌱 Create affirming environments that support every child’s rhythm and way of being
