39-Year-Old Pinon Hills Man Dies Following Phelan Motorcycle Crash

PHELAN, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The motorcyclist critically injured in a crash on Phelan Road Thursday afternoon has died, officials confirmed.
The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Division identified the victim as 39-year-old Joshua Workman, a resident of Pinon Hills.
The crash was reported at about 1:27 p.m. on April 24, 2025, in the 3700 block of Phelan Road, directly in front of El Patron Family Restaurant.
According to preliminary information from the California Highway Patrol, Workman was riding a 2018 Harley-Davidson Street Glide westbound when he collided with a black Honda Civic that was preparing to make a left turn onto Lebec Road.
Workman was transported by ground ambulance to Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, where he was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival.
The driver of the Honda, described as a female adult, suffered injuries that were reported as non-life-threatening.
The crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Station. Anyone with information is asked to call (760) 241-1186.
