Well, here it is. My improved version of this run after learning and implementing NBT, being my last run didn't count toward any established score for the course. I tried many different things to try and save time. I used the speed boost as often as possible, even on the first straight way where doing the trick saved me two pixels. Well, some is better than none I guess. I also started the race differently. My best old way was short to the new way by a single pixel, so I went with the new way.
Some of you may ask at some point why I didn't try to jump gravel before the second turn. It's 7 frames faster or so, with the angle involved. I attempted many, many times to jump gravel and make the turn, but it was always faster to approach the pipe and not jump.
Others may ask why I didn't attempt a speed boost going to the third turn. It takes 72 or 73 frames to achieve the speed boost. Getting the speed boost by itself saves 6 frames exactly. Taking the shortcut on the third turn saves more than 6 frames, and I have to begin that turn before I gain anything from the boost.
I suppose I could compare this to my old run, being it's the last one submitted.

Lap 3: 11"50 ---- 10"96 (32 frames)
Lap 4: 11"54 ---- 10"97 (34 frames)
Lap 5: 11"50 ---- 10"71 (49 frames)
Total: 0'57"81 -- 0'54"91 (175 frames)
Yep, nearly 3 entire seconds faster to do it this way. Far as I know, this tops the WR by just over a second or so.
