Expanding the Jobsite for the Big Machines - Part 3 of my ongoing RC construction site build — and this time, I went big. The work zone needed more space for the fleet, so I brought in additional road sections, reinforced them with metal grating under the dirt for stability, and compacted the whole thing using a sheeps foot roller. The result? A much larger, more stable operating area for my RC trucks and heavy equipment.

Most of the new roadwork was laid in off-camera, but today’s session was all about compacting, filling, and locking it in. The 70lb RC excavator came out for some precision digging and shaping — and near the end, I pulled off a cliff-scaling move that would make any operator proud. No safety ropes, no shortcuts — just pure track power and careful control.

By the end, the site is ready for bigger hauls, smoother runs, and even more action in the next phase. If you enjoy realistic RC construction, stick around — this project is far from over.
