It doesn't take long in Fury Green before you come up against the yellow wall that is Viewros Amber. When you scan it, you'll find out that it can be broken with an explosive force, but nothing you can do at this time will cut it. The solution is that you need to continue to explore Resin Canyon to find a Galactic Federation NPC called Myles MacKenzie, who will give you a missile launcher upgrade as a thankyou for rescuing him from a pack of Viewros monsters. With this, you'll be able to smash through the amber and carry on in Fury Green.

You'll have to go back to 2007 for the previous game in the series, so it's fair to say that the game has been a long time in the making. Metroid Prime 4 Beyond sees a return for Samus Aran, the protagonist for the series, as she's pulled into a wormhole of some sort. It takes her, her enemy Sylux and some of her space ranger pals to the strange planet of viewros, and it's up to you to rebuild her abilities, get extra powers and figure out what's going on. As with the previous games in the Metroid Prime series, 4 continues with first-person shooter action, but with the Nintendo Switch 2 you get both point and shoot and mouse control options.
