A 4WD day trip into the NSW Southern Highlands. The sun was out and I headed South into the NSW highlands at Wingello State Forest. Very popular with mountain bike riders and 4WD enthusiasts but on a weekday I had the place to myself. I saw one trail-bike rider all day in fact! I explored the trails, used the drone and found a 4WD play area to explore but I had to first conquer a large washout which the Mitsubishi Challenger handled in low range 4x4 with the rear diff locked. Later in the afternoon I left Wingello and visited Long Point Lookout in Morton National Park which overlooks the stunning Shoalhaven River Gorge. I had a great day exploring and enjoying the world class scenery and I'm glad to share it with everyone. It was shot on Sony A7IV, GoPro 10 and 3+, and an original Mavic Air which is still working well.
