Getting An MRI - Finally An Answer! Took too long to finally make this happen, but we did it! Lincoln was scheduled to get an MRI done in the hospital so we could figure out what the lump was in his arm. Because of his past experiences, we knew he would freak out, so it was crucial to have it done under sedation. Overall, it was an ok experience, just a few bumps in the road. Luckily, because of the medication he was given before sedation, he doesn't recall anything that happened. Have you ever had to have an MRI?
