El Parque Nacional Tsitsikamma es un área protegida en Garden Route , Western Cape y Eastern Cape , Sudáfrica . Es una reserva costera conocida por sus bosques autóctonos, su espectacular costa y el sendero Otter Trail . El 6 de marzo de 2009 se fusionó con el Parque Nacional Wilderness y varias otras áreas de tierra para formar el Parque Nacional Garden Route .

El parque cubre un tramo de costa de 80 kilómetros (50 millas) de largo. Nature's Valley se encuentra en el extremo occidental del parque y el alojamiento principal está en Storms River Mouth . Cerca del parque se encuentra el Puente Bloukrans , el puente bungee jump más alto del mundo con 216 metros (709 pies).

La palabra "Tsitsikamma" proviene del idioma khoekhoe tse-tsesa , que significa "claro", y gami , que significa "agua", probablemente refiriéndose al agua clara del río Tsitsikamm. Otros significados son "lugar de mucha agua" y "comienzan las aguas".

Tsitsikamma National Park is a protected area on the Garden Route, Western Cape and Eastern Cape, South Africa. It is a coastal preserve known for its native forests, spectacular coastline, and the Otter Trail. On March 6, 2009 it merged with Wilderness National Park and several other areas of land to form Garden Route National Park.

The park covers a stretch of coastline that is 80 kilometers (50 miles) long. Nature's Valley is at the western end of the park and the main lodge is on the Storms River Mouth. Near the park is the Bloukrans Bridge, the world's tallest bungee jump bridge at 216 meters (709 feet).

The word "Tsitsikamma" comes from the Khoekhoe language tse-tsesa, which means "clear", and gami, which means "water", probably referring to the clear water of the Tsitsikamm River. Other meanings are "place of much water" and "the waters begin".
