Viola Lee Ramsey, 92
Manchester resident and Warren County native Viola Lee Ramsey, 92, died Sunday, Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at Manchester Medical Center.
The owner of Vi's Lounge and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Zora Mae Dodd McMahan Sr.; and was preceded in death by brothers, Walter McMahan and Lloyd McMahan; and sisters, Connie Prater and Myrtle Bailey.
She is survived by her husband, John B. Ramsey Jr. of Manchester; brother, Granville McMahan of Morrison; and sisters, Laura McAfee, Clara McAfee and Mildred Prater, all of Morrison, Johnnie Cooper and Pauline Light, both of Muncie, Ind.
Services were held Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at Manchester Funeral Home with Vernon Joines officiating. Burial followed at Shady Grove Cemetery.
