In the twilight hush, when the moon kissed the silver water, Avalon returned from legend.
Mist curled over the lake like a living breath, and from the shadows, ancient wings unfolded.
A dragon — golden scales shimmering like starlight — glided across the surface, barely disturbing the water beneath.
He was not a beast of fear, but of wisdom… guardian of the old magic.
On the shore stood a girl in a dark cloak, drawn by a call older than memory.
Their eyes met — her wonder, his knowing — and for a moment the world fell silent.
The dragon bowed his great head, offering trust.
She stepped forward, heart steady, as if she’d walked this path in lifetimes before.
Avalon welcomed her.
The lake glowed like liquid moonfire, ruins of an ancient castle rising faintly behind them —
a reminder of kings, enchantresses, and dreams that do not die.
With a sweep of wings, the dragon circled her, then soared into the mist —
leaving only ripples and the echo of destiny.
Some say she still wanders those shores, waiting for his return.
And when moonlight touches the lake just right… you can almost see them both.
