Blue Tongue Skink: New Tank Set Up, Substrate Selection, and Pre-Brumation Ritual

This is an ideal video to watch if you want recommendations on Northern (Tiliqua scincoides intermedia), Eastern (Tiliqua scincoides scincoides), or Irian Jaya Blue Tongue Skink species substrate selection, how to set up a naturalistic enclosure for the first time, and how to sanitize the enclosure if you are starting over fresh. This is our process of cleaning, sanitizing, and rebuilding each enclosure before their annual brumation.

We filmed mid-October, just before our adult Blue Tongued Skinks went down for brumation (reptile hibernation). Apologies in advance for the delayed post, and a few editing choices. I tried to wrap everything up before November's knee surgery but was unsuccessful, then a few of the video files got corrupt, which delayed us from posting any sooner.
