Before "Time of the Season," the Zombies were just teenagers trying to get to the gig.
In this clip, the 2019 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees look back on their humble beginnings — from squeezing three members and a drum kit onto a Vespa scooter to touring the UK in a drafty Lyons Maid ice cream van.
Despite the low pay (£6 a night!) and tough crowds at working men's clubs, their passion for the music kept them going. It’s a classic story of the rock & roll hustle.
