The Les Misérables Staged Concert Spectacular has opened at the National Theater and Concert Hall in Taipei as part of the musical’s 40th anniversary world tour. Performances will run through July 6 before continuing at the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts from July 10 to 27, with a total of 52 shows scheduled across both cities.
The show’s rousing ensemble number “One Day More” was performed in Taipei by a stellar cast including Luke McCall, James D. Gish, Jâc Yarrow, Nathania Ong, and Beatrice Penny-Touré, among others—delivering one of the production’s most powerful and memorable moments.
