IGNOU to Host 38th Convocation on March 5, 2025; Hon’ble Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to Grace the Occasion as Chief Guest.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will host its 38th Convocation on March 5, 2025, at its headquarters in Maidan Garhi, New Delhi, with simultaneous ceremonies at Regional Centers across the country and also at Overseas centers. The event will be graced by the Hon’ble Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan as the Chief Guest. As part of the ceremony, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, the Honorable Education Minister of India, will deliver the convocation address.

During the ceremony, IGNOU will confer nearly 2.8 lakh degrees, diplomas, and certificates to successful students across India.

To ensure widespread accessibility, the Convocation will be broadcast live on IGNOU’s YouTube Channel (eGyankosh), official Facebook page (@OfficialPageIGNOU), and SWAYAM PRABHA Channels (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16). Additionally, GyanDarshan TV, the university’s dedicated channel, will also air the event live.
