Some tips on training the correct Mao Bu or Cat stance posture ... also the many ways this stance is used... with it's strengths and weaknesses. I equate Mao Bu with the Fire or Li element from the I-Ching 8 elements from its narrow base and spiral upward movement. Mao Bu is a narrow high level forward Stance usually used as a Guard stance that then transforms into other stances as the opponent enters and throws power at us.
