Bricked Scanmatik SM2 Pro, SAVED with ST-Link and old firmware. DIY FULL PROCESS!

I accidentally plugged my SM2 pro clone into the newer Scanmatik v2.21.24 - V2.21.30 software. After doing that it seems to have messed up the firmware on the device. When I plugged it into the Scanmatik 2.21.22 software the usb symbol doesn’t turn green in the program nor would it connect. If I open it into the PCMFlash software and click read I would get an error. So to fix this I removed the new versions of Scanmatik and pcm flash and reinstalled the older versions that came with the clone when I got it. Scanmatik V2.21.22 and PCMFlash 1.2.0. Then I opened the sm2 device and soldered the ST-Link device to it. After that I then downloaded the ST-Link software and installed it. Followed by downloading the correct firmware for the SM2 pro. Once it was all hooked up and connected to the software I then flashed the original firmware and it fixed it! I’ve included detailed video instructions on how to connect to it as I couldn’t find anything like this readily available online.
