My Heavy Duty Glass Stove Top Cleaning Tips

Cleaning your glass stove top the right way can make a terrible looking stove look like new in a few minutes – without using harsh chemicals. A quick and easy way to remove horrible burnt rings from around the elements.

This is my whole process for cleaning glass stove tops and it works on even the most EXTREME ‘situations’ – just check out the before and afters at the end to see the difference I made to a glass stove top that the agent thought needed to be replaced.

The main products I use for cleaning glass stove tops are:

Dishwashing liquid in a spray bottle with water – here I am using a personal favourite – OzKleen’s Dish Power (it’s good stuff and totally Aussie! – https://www.ozkleen.com).

Jif is a great thing for getting any leftover stuff off that the glass scraper couldn’t.

A glass scraper. You can find these in a stove top cleaning kit in your local supermarket. Just make sure the blade is new (rusty old blades can scratch the glass) and be careful when you use it.

A wet microfibre cloth and a dry lint free cotton cloth to dry it.

Glass cleaner can help remove any streaks.
