Scene from Dimitri Kirsanov's film "Menilmontant" from 1924, cut from a close-up of a young lady (Nadia Sibirskaia) to a flashback of her as a young girl, dressed in white with long curls, playing in the park as she did prior to the murder of her parents. The sound is cut together from Max Brand's two french folk-songs "crocodile" & "mademoiselle", sung 1963 by Ligoa Duncan in a performance with Brand, who defamiliarized the songs with his electroacoustic sound collages.
