On the December 31th, 2024. Officers were dispatched to a Panic Button.
After the inital call was dealt with there was verbal arguement between three males, which was "Geo Osama", a unidentified LAPD officer and CHP Trooper Eriksson.
The civilian, Geo Osama assaulted the unidentified LAPD officer and then shortly after barricaded himself in a stairwell, a shootout accured causing a LASD officer loosing his life almost immediately. More officers were dispatched to the scene, and more officers fell.
In this video, you see bodycam footage from one of the inital officers that was involved in the confrontation. The initial arguement was not caught on bodycam.
