The Princess Royal rides with Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and 300 riders at Edinburgh Riding of the Marches on 14 September as part of celebrations to mark the city’s 900th anniversary.
The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards is a cavalry regiment whose origins date back to 1678.
The Parade was led on the Royal Mile in turn by George Watson's College Pipe Band and George Heriot's Pipe Band.
