The Snow Space Salzburg ski area with the villages of Flachau, Wagrain, and St. Johann, together with the Shuttleberg Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl / Zauchensee ski connection, is one of the five largest ski areas in Austria.
Together, they offer more than 210 kilometers of slopes, including the legendary Hermann Maier slope. A special attraction is the 12 Peaks Trophy, in which winter sports enthusiasts explore all twelve peaks between St. Johann/Alpendorf and Zauchensee. Those who manage to conquer all 12 peaks during their stay can look forward to a special surprise.

Here you will find a ski area for families and freestylers. It is a large winter sports park in the Salzburger Sportwelt! Absolut Park is amazing, one of the largest and most popular snow parks in Europe, with freeride trails and groomed ski tours.

They also have a special experience for children, the shuttle route. This easy-to-ride route leads along blue slopes and wide paths around 19 stations, where crazy dolls in larger than life size are waiting for you. Children who visit all the stations receive a cheerful sticker book and stickers at the ticket office. This Family Route is 19 kilometers long and runs along both sides of the mountain.

Absolut Park is absolutely gorgeous, it is perfect.
Over the past 20 years, Absolut Park has developed into not only the largest snow park in Austria, but also one of the most famous snow parks in the world. The entire park area is 1.5 km long, is divided into seven sections and is equipped with more than 100 different and varied obstacles. These are maintained daily by a professional shape crew to ensure perfect conditions.
Whether you are a beginner or a pro: Absolut Park has everything your freestyle heart desires.

All winter sports enthusiasts with a valid ski pass can travel free of charge by bus and train, public transport from anywhere in Salzburg - including the trolleybus lines in Salzburg.

The mountain huts in the Snow Space Salzburg area serve everything a hungry skier could think of: from hearty spareribs to classic Wiener schnitzel to homemade sweet desserts such as Kaiserschmarrn. Breathtaking panoramas of the Austrian Alps round off this delicious, top-class experience.
You shouldn't miss out on après ski either! Great atmosphere and fun await you in the many après ski bars. But don't forget: Don't drink and ski!

In addition to the capacious, comfortable, usually covered and heated chairlifts, the area is also connected by two remarkable cable cars - the G-Link shuttle cable car, which connects the two opposite slopes above Wagrain at a height of up to 232 m above the ground, and the 10-seater Panorama Link cabin on the ridge route between the Snow Space Salzburg area and Flachauwinkl, which is one of the most panoramic cable cars in Austria and offers a distant view of the Pongau valley, the Hohe Tauern and the Hochkönig massif.

In nearby Altenmarkt, there is the Therme Amade water park - in addition to sports and relaxation pools (28 to 35 °C), there is also a sauna world.
