Gajar Ka Halwa Recipe
Ingredients:
1 kg carrots, peeled and grated
2 liters full-fat milk
1 & 1/3 cups sugar (or to taste)
3-4 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
3 green cardamom, crushed
3 tbsp chopped almonds
5 tbsp chopped cashews
Instructions:
1. *Cook Carrots*: Boil milk in a large pan, add grated carrots, and cook on medium heat until carrots are tender and milk reduces.
2. *Add Sugar and Ghee*: Add sugar and ghee, stir continuously until sugar dissolves and mixture thickens.
3. *Add Nuts and Cardamom*: Add chopped almonds, cashews, and crushed cardamom. Mix well.
4. *Finish*: Continue cooking until halwa reaches desired consistency.
5. *Serve*: Serve warm or chilled, garnished with additional nuts if desired.
Tips:
Use fresh, juicy carrots for the best flavor.
Stir continuously to avoid burning.
Adjust sugar according to taste.
