About me:
I’m Big Al, a freestyle rapper out of Boston MA.

I began creating improv music as a kid, playing blues on guitar and singing in a jazz band. About 10 years ago, I attempted to freestyle rap and instantly fell in love. There’s nothing like the energy of a freestyle cypher.

I’ve made many freestyle rap friends through the years; at work, school, and while traveling. Everywhere I go, I meet amazing people who love freestyling.

A few years ago, I began to wonder how many people around the world shared my obsession for freestyle - that’s when I started The Freestyle Forum.
