Former Caltrain Diesel Fleet heads to Peru via ship (BBC Genoa)

This object gliding on water, should any of you have lived underground for the better parts of your lives and never had the occasion to look towards the sea, is a ship. It's official designation, BBC Genoa. Built in 2024, registered in Antigua and Barbuda. Serving for BBC Chartering. But in this video, this ship is chartered by Sea Marine Transport (SMT) by the Peruvian Government to bring the retired Caltrain Diesel Fleet of EMD F40s and Nippon Sharyo Gallery Cars/Cabcars to serve a new life in Lima, Peru in South America. The ship departed the Port of Stockton in Stockton, California, U.S.A. to the Port of Callao in Lima, Peru.

Take a look at the BBC Genoa entering the Suisun Bay after its departure from the Port of Stockton as it passes Antioch and makes it's way towards San Francisco out to the Pacific Ocean to begin its 10 day journey south to Peru!
