Traded My Lesson for a Lunch Adventure KMYF-KSMX

Fly with me while I build time towards my instrument rating in the Lunch Adventure Series.

Welcome back to my Lunch Adventure series! Instead of my regular Tuesday lesson with my instructor, Carson and I took the plane up to the Central Coast to spend time with my big family and attend my Great Aunt Peggy’s funeral. She was in her 90’s when she passed and was such a vibrant and accomplished woman blazing the trail in medicine for generations of women to come. This video is dedicated to her in the spirit of limitless potential and chasing after one’s dreams. Fly along with us through gorgeous SoCal and back home to San Diego before the evening fog moves in. On this flight we were able to witness mountain wave in action as the smoke from the California fires moved West, and celebrate with me as I hit triple digits on my total time, breaking 100 hrs in the sky. I hope you enjoy, and as aunt Peggy would say, “keep chasing your dreams and wear a smile the whole way.”
