Social Security's Disability Forms - How to Fill Them Out

“Applying for disability is a lot of work. I have no idea how to fill out all this paperwork?” Does this sound familiar?

If you are in pain, uncomfortable and unable to concentrate, why does SSA expect that you will be able to complete dozens of forms - some that may be 10 pages or more? Why does Social Security seen determined to make the disability application process more complicated each year?

The main point to remember when completing all these forms is this: every answer you give must contain specifics. Avoid “not very much” or “not very far.” Keep in mind that the Social Security decision maker wants to know why and how your medical condition prevents you from working a simple, entry-level job.
