I attended the 2025 opening weekend of Southern California Timing Association (SCTA) Land Speed Racing event in El Mirage. El Mirage is about 1-1/2 hours from where I live in Orange County CA. This is maybe the 10th event I have attended (as a spectator) over the last few years. I love the cars and the people you see and meet out there. I especially love the Belly Tankers, but you will see all sorts of stuff. Congratulations to the dozen or more people who achieved speed records last weekend. I highly recommend gear heads like myself to get out there one of these days and I hope you like the video.
