My 20 favorite Akira Ifukube melodies! (with honourable mentions)

Akira Ifukube is mostly known for his Godzilla scores and some non-Godzilla Kaiju scores. As a fan of his music, I find it a bit icky that the rest of his nearly 300 film scores remain either not fully published or just not released at all. And at most, just obscure. His Kaiju scores are just like the tip of the iceberg. Below that tip is a huge block of all the film scores he's created between 1947-1995.

One of the reasons I decided to start setting up my favorite melodies of Akira Ifukube is because of 井戸家猫八's channel. It's partially because of how they already have a favorite tracks list, but some of the cues used there unfortunately don't have physical releases, so getting the movie audio is I guess the only way to present them. Besides, their channel is great, so make sure to check 'em out for Akira Ifukube-related stuff. Anyways, the cues I picked are only ones on physical releases. All of them were carefully picked. A majority of them are more known ones but I also wanted to include some more obscure ones. Enjoy!!
