BIKO RECIPE | How to Make SPECIAL BIKO

How to Make Biko. Full Recipe https://getrecipe.org/biko-recipe/

Ingredients
4 cups sweet rice rinsed and drained
1 cup brown sugar
2 cans coconut milk 400mL
4 cups water

For Latik Syrup
2 cans coconut milk 400mL
1 cup brown sugar

Instructions
1. Rinse and drain the rice in a pot until the water runs clear.
2. Add brown sugar, coconut milk, and water to the pot. Stir until well combined.
3. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until the rice turns golden brown.
4. Remove from heat and allow it to cool.
5. In a separate saucepan, mix coconut milk and brown sugar. Cook and stir until the mixture thickens and caramelizes.
6. Transfer the rice to a baking pan and spread the caramelized syrup evenly on top.
7. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
8. Remove from the oven and let it cool before cutting into your desired shapes.
