Body work: applying fibreglass reinforced filler on all the welds

The firewall we fabricated is complete so now it's time for some body work. The first step of body work is to apply fibreglass reinforced filler over all the welded seams to add strength and durability. Fibreglass reinforced filler is a dense texture which makes it a) hard to apply and b) even harder to sand off. A simple and easy trick is to add polyester resin to the mixture to thin it out which causes a smooth application that requires little to no sanding 🚨
