With a south-westerly airflow bringing mild, drizzly and breezy conditions, I headed inland for a fly fishing session targeting rainbow trout in Llyn Brenig, north Wales. Along a sheltered shoreline I chose a spot where plenty of fish were moving, and in the few hours I was there I managed a nice brace of trout, one taken on an orange headed nymph and another on a small wet fly pattern.
