From the DVD front matter:
The era of our past has changed but in Butte Falls it hasn't been forgotten. The familiar terrain in which we live provides a fertile ground for the future of our town. Looking back helps us to better understand our past and the forces which helped shape the community we live in today. From the era of one-room schools, to over 250 students today in grades K through 12, we are proud of our schools. Our little town with its one red blinking light cattle guards at each end and a fence around the town to keep cattle from grazing in our yards reminds us of how unique Butte Falls is in these modern times.
Produced by Roger Fishman and Joyce Hailicka for the Big Butte Historical Society in 2004. Converted to digital thanks in part to funding from the Oregon Cultural Trust through the Jackson County Cultural Coalition to the Big Butte Historical Society which has given permission for the video to be published here.
