The full shave service at House of Handsome is special because of the time and attention to take care of the skin before actually going into the shave. A mini facial is done first and they also take the time to take care of your eyebrow, ear, and nose hair. Massaging globes are used as well.

It was awesome to meet Michael B. and Ms Elizabeth at House of Handsome 🙌🏼 House of Handsome is the creation of Michael Beckadic, who spent 20 years in the barbering industry before retiring.

Michael spent three years meticulously designing and renovating the space, considering every detail, from the lighting to the wallpaper, with the clients in mind. When it was finally ready in 2018, Michael had a grand reveal - no one knew what the shop looked like until the big day! ✨

"House of Handsome was about creating a space specifically for the clients," Michael shared. Every choice—whether it was the furniture, the textures, the colors, or the music—was centered around the client. That dedication paid off, as Maxim magazine later named it one of the world's best luxury barbershops.

Michael’s vision wasn’t just about aesthetics but about "delivering the world's best men's grooming service." "More than a barbershop, more than a haircut," he explained, we want every client to feel "it was a world-class experience." To ensure that, a sign at the front desk encourages clients to reach out directly to Michael if their visit was anything less than exceptional.

Prior to working in barbering, Ms Elizabeth spent 8 years serving in the Navy ⚓️ Thereafter, she graduated from college and worked as a healthcare administrator. Feeling burnt out in the healthcare field, she decided to follow her passion. Her life advice? "Don't be afraid to do the things that you actually want to do." While working as a cosmetologist, she met Michael B., and in 2019, she joined House of Handsome. There, she apprenticed with Michael, became a licensed barber, and now manages the shop 💈

Ms Elizabeth has a passion for making people feel good about themselves not just externally but internally too. Michael says when you look in the mirror and feel good on the outside, it boosts how you feel on the inside. With 55 minutes of attention, care, and conversation focused on the client, he feels the client leaves feeling lighter with less hair and ideally less stress.
