Back in Ipoh, back to my childhood. This trip felt so special revisiting my hometown with all the familiar streets, flavours and memories wrapped into one journey.

Traveling with my elder brother and Carmen made it even more meaningful, watching her have so much fun with her cousins while I relived the tastes of my childhood from local hawker food to nostalgic comfort dishes that Ipoh is so proud of. Every meal during this stay felt like stepping back in time, from classic kopitiam vibes to soulful Malaysian comfort food that reminds me why Ipoh is such a foodie paradise.
