Today, we're tackling a topic that might make some Porsche purists cringe. I recently took delivery of a 2025 Porsche 911S 992.2, and like many, it came with the notorious Pirelli PZero summer tires. While they're great for performance driving, for a daily driver in a four-season climate, they pose some serious challenges.
In this video, I reveal why I decided to swap out the factory PZeros for the highly-rated Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus XL all-season tires. Was it blasphemy? Or a practical, safe, and cost-effective decision for year-round usability? We'll dive into the the daily driver dilemma and the compelling reasons behind choosing UHP all-seasons over dedicated summer/winter setups (or the revered Michelin Pilot Sport AS4s!).
Watch to see the full tire swap process, my first impressions, and why I believe this is the right choice for my Porsche 911. Also, thanks to the guys at Grismer Tire for being so accommodating and letting me film the process!
