Jhelum Valley Azad Kashmir Road Trip 2021 | Traveling in Kashmir Ep08 | Jehlum Valley

Jhelum Valley of Azad Kashmir AJK is also pronounced as Jehlum Valley. Jehlum Valley is one of the beautiful valleys of the Azad Kashmir. Jehlum Valley is also famous for the river named Jehlum River flowing through the Jehlum Valley. All of the Jehlum Valley is located alongside the Jehlum River. In Muzafarabad Jehlum river and Nelum river are combined and form one River. Jehlum Valley is approximately 50 KM long. Hattian Bala is the district headquarter town of the Jehlum Valley. The Famous highway Srinagar highway is also passing through this valley. The Chakothi sector connects Jehlum Valley with the district of Baramulla and Kupwara. Jehlum Valley is surrounded by lush green Mountains. Some popular tourist attractions are Garhi Dupatta, Awan Patti, Chinari, Chakothi, Pahal, and Chikkar. The valley is connected by a metalled road from Muzaffarabad.
Hotels and rest houses with basic facilities are located in towns and villages in the valley. Health facilities, education institutes, post offices, and land-line phone service are also available.
