Malekko Omicron Vibrato - A Forgotten Gem

The Malekko Omicron Vibrato is beautifully voiced, tiny pedal that does exactly what the name suggests. It has a very specific, sort of pre-set tone to it - the circuit seems to push the mids a bit and the vibrato waveform is an asymmetrical triangle shape which gives it a really cool characteristic. Just two knobs on this pedal - speed and depth. In other words - a bit of a one-trick-pony but that's why I like it. It's a super simple design and was a really fun pedal for me to discover recently.

It came out years ago and it's probably safe to say it has been mostly forgotten about. They're out of production now but you can pick one of these up pretty cheap on the used market if you're patient. Reverb has a watch list feature - search for a pedal you're interested in and if you're patient and want to find a good deal, Reverb will alert you when a piece of gear you've marked has been listed below a certain price threshold - whatever you set. I think I paid $60 or $70 for this one.
