Mt Sprent lies out at the far end of the Gordon River Road in Tasmania's southwest. It marks the beginning of the off track traverse of the Frankland Range, but can be accessed as a daytrip owing to a steep track that leads up from Serpentine Dam. Be prepared for all conditions if attempting this walk! As you'll see upon viewing, cloud, wind and rain are all common in this part of the world. The walk is approximately 4-5 hours return for most walkers.
