It’s been an incredible honor for me to reimagine "Sabu," a masterpiece by the legendary Oumou Sangaré. Her music has shaped the cultural landscape of Mali and African music as a whole, and being able to work with her artistry is something I’m truly proud of. With this project, I aimed to celebrate her legacy while bringing her powerful sound into a fresh, electronic context. It’s my way of bridging the timeless traditions of African music with a modern vibe, and I hope it resonates with listeners everywhere.
