How to Update HPE Gen 11 Server Firmware by SPP | SUM Smart Update Manager
Steps:
1. Download Latest SPP for Proliant DL380 Gen11 from HPE Support Portal.
2. Login to Server iLO and Mount CD/DVD .ISO file.
3. Power ON or Reboot the Server and Press F11 for Boot Menu & boot From iLO Virtual CD/DVD
4. Chosse Automatic to Avoid any intruption.
5. The System will make a baseline and Inventory the firmware and will auto start the upgradation.

Note1: During the Update the iLO Virtual Console Maybe Inturrupt but no worries the required packages are uploded to RAMDISK by the Server Prior Starting the Firmware Update.

Note2: To Avoid any Issue its always recommended to have system backup and during update online UPS power backup is strongly recommended.
