Lucia means “light.”
Hazel has a few more meanings: We have the hazel tree, which produces some of the most delicious nuts, but the Celts also considered it to be a tree of wisdom.
Back when I wanted to be a writer, I came up with the name Hazel Lucia because I wanted a pseudonym. I later used it as an online alias, to protect my identity. This was about 15 years ago, before I came to my spiritual transformation. Now I use this name because I feel the meaning fits my life purpose.
