In this beginners guide tutorial on how to judge distance when sniping in Arma Reforger, I tell you how the M21 Sniper Rifle with the ART II scope works.

To judge distance with the M21 & ART II Optic, you line up & match the centre of the cross hairs & the vertical blob or dot below the cross hairs with an object that 1m tall - half the height of a man. This means you can place the center of the cross hairs on a targets head, then adjust the zoom until the vertical blog below is at his crotch & this will be approximately 1m.

You then look at the magnification to achieve this match, eg 5x, times that by 100, eg 500m, then match your zeroing to that, then use the center of the cross hair on your target.

It get's quicker and easier with practice!
