Joining the Arctic’s Most Exclusive Club | Winter Vanlife

This week, Jo and I detour to Hammerfest, Norway, one of the world’s northernmost towns, to join the Royal & Ancient Polar Bear Society. It’s the kind of quirky Arctic tradition I can’t resist for Vanlifers, campervanners and motorhomers who dare to come this far north, and it’s been on my list for a while.

We also pass through Alta to check out the famous Northern Lights Cathedral before heading south again, back to Tromsø, where it’s time to say goodbye (for now) as Jo heads home.
