The deadline having passed for the removal of vending stalls from the sidewalks of Kingstown, one of the last remaining stalls on Bay Street was removed by a private contractor this afternoon, under the protection of officers from the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force.
Pieces of wood and other discarded items were also cleared from a neighbouring private lot which reportedly had been used by vendors as a place to store their goods.
