I travelled to this Eastern European Country, a country I knew almost nothing about. I tasted the national dish of Bryndzové Halušky (potato dumplings with farmers cheese and crispy pork fat). I road the trains of Slovakia from Bratislava to Košice and hiked through the High Tatras in Winter. I ate Zemiakové Placky (potato pancakes) in the Bratislava market and dined on Kapustová polievka (Slovakian sauerkraut & sausage soup) on the train. Slovakia is an amazing country to tour around. It is easy, the people are warm and friendly (even in winter) and Slovakian cuisine is good! Go here (but don't tell too many people).
