5000kms in the luxury diesel SUV Coupe (BMW X6 xDrive30d LCI 2025 Review)

BMW’s X6 was one of the originators in taking the SUV wagon shape and injecting some sporty flair with a coupe silhouette. And Munich has recently refreshed its large family hauler with its Life Cycle Impulse (LCI) midlife update.

Here Chasing Cars founder Tom Baker has the 2025 xDrive30d in fully-loaded German specification. And Baker takes it on a 5000km European road trip, from sea to snow-capped mountains, to see how the big Bimmer fares as the grandest of grand tourers.

Kicking off at $140,900 list, the xDrive30d LCI is the entry point into X6 ownership in Australia, in a four-variant line-up that tops out at a quarter mil for the mighty petrol-powered X6 M.
