Simple & Easy Negative Painting a Seahorse With Watercolor Pt Part 3

I this the 3rd and final video of painting a seahorse in watercolor. Negative painting the shapes within the body of the seahorse is a perfect way of creating the ridges that give the seahorse its texture. This is a fun way to sculpt these little sea critters. Starting with a very light value you will gradually develop depth as you continue to deepen the value as you go along. Seahorses can be found in an assortment of colors so use your imagination and let your favorite colors flow. Follow along as I walk you through the negative painting process.
